Dirac imprints on the g -factor anisotropy in graphene

چکیده

Dirac electrons in graphene are to lowest order spin 1/2 particles, owing the orbital symmetries at Fermi level. However, anisotropic corrections $g$-factor appear due intricate spin-valley-orbit coupling of chiral electrons. We resolve experimentally along three orthogonal directions a large-scale sample. employ Hall bar structure with an external magnetic field arbitrary direction, and extract effective $g$-tensor via resistively-detected electron resonance. theoretical perturbative approach identify intrinsic extrinsic orbit obtain fundamental parameter inherent atomic $^{12}$C, commonly used ab-initio models.

Comment on "BCS superconductivity of dirac electrons in graphene layers".

Possible superconductivity of electrons with the Dirac spectrum is analyzed using the BCS model. We calculate the critical temperature, the superconducting energy gap, and the supercurrent as functions of the doping level and of the pairing interaction strength. Zero doping is characterized by the existence of a quantum critical point such that the critical temperature vanishes below some finit...
